Why is this girl bullying me?
There is this one girl in my school who I have known since Preschool. We used to be best friends up until about 4th grade. We're in 8th grade now.
Apparently, she has been spreading rumors that I have "pinched her butt" and "staring at her boobs." Who knows what other things she's said about me?
I've read some things on this topic, but the context is different. My school is an extremely small school. There are only 33 kids in 8th grade, about 15 per class, so rumors spread like a wildfire. Now, no girls will talk to me because they all are in their own clique and all think that I am a creep who sexually batters people.
Why is this girl doing this and how do I ask her to stop?

Maybe you did something wrong and just don't know it. Don't ask to meet her in private...because she might spread more rumors but in a public place and in a calm tone ask if you had done something wrong. If you did, then fix it, but if you didn't just tell her "Hey...um well can you please stop spreading rumors about me, please? It really hurts my feelings and I didn't pinch your butt or stare at your boobs, but if I did anything that made you think that I sincerely apologize. I would really like it if we could be friends again." If she doesn't accept this, just go about your own life and be extremely friendly to everybody so your good reputation will cancel out the bad and you might just make more friends than the girl who's spreading rumors about you. I'm truly sorry for your situation and apologize in advance if my advice doesn't work.

Tell her she's messing up your life. Ask her if that's what she wants to do? Ask her why?
Next year the girls might like for you to feel there butt.

Talk to a guidance counselor about it and he/she will get her to stop
It's always better to go to an adult about bullying situations. It may seem childish, but its actually more mature!
