I've had an irregular period since I started. It's been almost six years; Is there something wrong with me? Am I infertile?

It doesn't necessarily mean you're infertile, less fertile at the moment and maybe a fertility problem.

Not all vaginal bleeding equates to menstruation, so in other words just because you're seeing a bleed doesn't mean that you ovulated two weeks prior - even if you are still ovulating, you're only doing so once every three months or so and as such you are less fertile at the moment. It might still be a case of irregular cycles due to your age, this can occur until you go into your twenties, but it may be something like PCOS (do you have other symptoms like being overweight or excessive body hair?).

You need to talk to your doctor about running tests - DO NOT allow them to palm you off with the pill, although you'd bleed regularly this is not the same as regular menstrual cycles.

No, you're not infertile. You might be malnourished though, or you might have low iron. See a doctor.
