Jogging burns more calories than cycling?
So running apparently burns more calories than cycling when performed at a similar pace of course. I have a stationary bike which i use and i find it makes me puff and sweat more than running for an equal amount of time. Whats up with that? Or perhaps these indicators are irrelevant?

You're using less of your body on a bike. Maybe you're just used to running? You're supposed to stationary bike 2-3 times the pace you run at (above 20mph). Then you burn an equivalent number of calories.

Using a rowing machine is the best machine you can use, it uses all the major muscle groups, raises the heart rate, you lose weight, but gain more muscle in your arms, legs, back and stomach, makes you a lot fitter than a bike or running, you can raise a really good sweat using one, try 15 minutes on one, then try a bike or running

it depends how fast you cycle but in general if you have to move the weight of your entire body it will burn more calories. Swimming isn't all that efficient for losing weight but again it depends how fast and how far...and to lesser extent the water temperature.

Jogging.... Jogging is better than cycling.. It makes heart pump faster than cycling
