What is the next step for a 2 year green card renewal after filling out form I-751?

If we file the I-751 form 90 days before the expiration date, and the processing time takes longer than 90 days (As we are unsure how long it takes, if we apply in time)

So the question is:

Will the conditional resident still be able to continue working at current company where he is employed as full time if the processing takes longer than 90 days?

Supporting documentation:

- Bank Statements

- Tax Returns

- Lease

- Health Insurance

- Pictures

- Emergency contact

- Authorized for release of medical records

- No itineraries showing travel due to his ongoing health issues

As has been pointed out correctly, the I-751 is not an application to renew a Green Card, which would be form I-90, but to remove the conditions of the residency, which can be investment (EB-5 visa), or, more common, marriage to a US citizen or permanent resident.

Once you have submitted your RoC package, you'll receive the NoA1, which extends the validity of your Green Card for another year. It doesn't take a year to adjudicate RoC (common is about half a year), so you will not have a lapse of anything, can continue to work and travel throughout the process.

Your supporting evidence is top notch, way above what's necessary, so I would assume smooth sailing all the way.

That's not green card renewal, it's removal of conditions to get a permanent (10-year) green card. Prove the marriage continues in good order. And you will be allowed to continue working in your current job while application is being processed. Be sure you keep your receipt as proof of filing!

If by some chance you lose your job, get laidoff (lots of that going on right now!), looking for another job is off the agenda until you get that permanent GC.
