I didn't think it was as good as "Rise". "Dawn" was just too predictable. I would see one scene, and could have told you what was going to happen later in the movie. I was also disappointed in the way that the Gary Oldman character turned out to be in the end.

The versions of the Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston was much better.
