How to keep myself awake?

My sleeping pattern has been completely messed up lately. Last weekend was really busy and I didn't get much sleep and now it's 5:31 am and I haven't slept since 6pm yesterday. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get myself to fall asleep and I've got a busy day planned today. I have to leave in 3 hours and I won't be back home until at least 10pm and I've just started feeling slightly tired. There's no way I can cancel since what I have planned is pretty important so I guess I'll have to take the unhealthy road and keep myself awake until I get home tonight.

How can I do this?

I know that coffee is one way and I don't drink energy/fizzy drinks, any other suggestions?

  • You'll be fine as long as you keep moving. It's when I stop for a few minutes that I feel the exhaustion trying to take over. There are non-habit-forming caffeine pills in the drugstore, but they didn't help me much (no more than coffee does). My advice would be not to sit for too long and try to stay busy till you get home and can get in bed. Never sleep during the day or you can't sleep at night.
