Muslims, is the Sudanese condemnation of Mariam Ibrahim in line with the teaching of Islam?
My previous question about this topic was reported and deleted! I'm very sorry if I came across as offensive. It's just that I don't often hear Muslim's condemn the execution of people like Mariam and I am really hopeful that it is just a misunderstanding on my part. If you are Muslim, can you please respond to this case and help me understand the teachings of Islam in this matter.

@musa Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I don't mean to belabor this, I just want to be sure I understand that you condemn what is being done to Mariam. If the situation were the other way around, I'd give more than a single word answer. I would (and have) apologized up and down for the actions of radical "Christians" who have committed atrocities against what Christianity really teaches. I beseech you, for Allah's sake, to condemn such actions so people won't be misled by unfaithful Muslims.
