Tapco sks stock?

Do you want your rifle to be as accurate as possible ? Then don't mess with it. After as many years as those were used, don't cha think they had them pretty well thought out ? Can you do better ? Think so ?

I once simple wanted a removal magazine conversion on mine. Removed the box magazine and properly installed the removable. Guess what, the rifle immediately went to H in a hand basket. Why because the new set up causes a bind in the rifles stocks inletting. Put the original box mag in place, did a tad of bedding work mainly just to make some recoil lug type arrangement and the rifle is happy again. Most have a POS brass pin as what would be a recoil lug.

Long story short, if you like the rifle., and want it be shoot the best it can LEAVE IT ALONE. I think they have the rifle figured out. Save your money, buy, ammo and learn to shoot better. That is the best advise you will see here. I MEAN real practice, not just messin' around.

Check other makes. My gun store has a couple different models. My old SKS had the bayonet and an after-market stock....but I forget the name of it....

The original wood stock is the best. I do not like putting crapco on my guns.
