Let's assume two things exist: 1) "god" and 2)" modern technology.?
How do you reconcile the two? Because the 2nd (technology) exists completely devoid of any divine thought--in fact many argue that the thought leading to modern technology is completely anti-theist (i.e. anti-creationists).
...and even if you are theist, you have to admit that no part of your bible suggests the technological revolution much less encourages it--isn't it the release of your religious beliefs that allows for technological development?

There could be no technological advancement without humans first having
(a) God-given brains to think about making things and
(b) without God-given materials from which to make things and
(c) without God-given universal laws of physics which existed billions of years before humans appeared.
How much technological stuff could exist without humans inventing the wheel? Now, just because some wheels were added to chariots, in order to kill other humans, in no way means God did not want humans inventing the wheel. It is how humans decide to use their inventions that matters, and great good has resulted from wise use of the wheel. But the wheel (the technology) is neutral.
How much technological health-care could exist without humans discovering microbes, which they needed microscopes for? Now, just because some microscopes were used to develop chemical weapons, in no way means God did not want humans inventing microscopes. It is how humans decide to use their inventions that matters, and great good has resulted from wise use of microscopes. But the microscopes (the technology) is neutral.
God is not concerned with 'things' - the Bible shows He is concerned with human attitudes and behaviours. He has given the Earth to humanity, to enjoy, to take care of. God has warned that it is our corrupted hearts that cause the problems He will take action against. But He can heal our corrupted hearts, if we are not so proud as to dismiss Him and His care. If we are that proud, our hearts will become hardened, and a hardened heart leads to death.
The real danger of technological advancement is that some people will think those 'things' are greater than the God who provided them with the brains, the resources, and the laws of physics with which to invent. But many inventions have been used to promote belief in God - especially the printing press and, today, the Internet. Those who are proud will disdain God through technology. Those who love God will promote God through technology. But the technology itself is neutral. AiH

GOD is the creator for everything. Also the technology is HIS creative prowess. HE knows the technology as HE is the creator.At the right time the Techknowhow is injected into the the selected(HE selects) persons mind and the that technology is downloaded on to this earth. Like Laser technology. It was left to Dr Townsend to develop Laser from Einsteins theory of relativity the concept Macer.HE did not select you or me.Why? The Questions is there but the answer HE only knows. What Equations and what Physics He follows to determine the selection not easy to understand. And that is my considered opinion.So it cannot be reconciled

It may be devoid of divine thought, but not not of consciousness. In the same way as my hand lacks any thought but is imbued with my consciousness.
