How do I access and operate on my computer from a 2nd computer?

Question

Is it possible for somebody in 2nd location to access the Google Earth Pro Edition from my desktop?  My friend is on a file server system which doesn't permit downloading secondary software like Google Earth. Is there some way I can give this person complete control of my computer so they can use my Google Earth program?  Any help would be appreciated.

Team Viewer will be a good option for this .All you have to install it on your machine and your friend's .Windows Desktop is kinda require some username and password which needs to be set ,but with Team Viewer all you have to start it ,it will show you your ID and Password ,at the same it needs to be running on your friends computer .So if you want to access his desktop ask him ID which will appear when Team Viewer is running and successfully obtained ID and password for use over Internet .Then fill it under "Control Remote Computer" .If you want him to control your desktop tell him you ID and password and he can see your desktop within no time .Below is a screenshot of Team Viewer.

Windows remote desktop, X11 on Linux, VNC, cloud-based schemes like gotomypc.com. Which might well be blocked by your friend's network.
