He tells me these things and is great when we're together but it is always me who has to ask for dates. He never ever calls.

if he doesn't try he's not interested - do urself a favor find someone else to keep u occupied. don't text him. don't call him. make him do the work. if he does ask u out say for tomorrow . tell him ur busy that night an he has to pick another time. maybe him work. BUT if he does not try he is NOT!!! interested !!!
