What does god eat? If he made man in his image,?
he surely must be a god that eats. Why would he not need to eat and make beings that do eat?

God is a spirit. His image is another spirit.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

He is a spirit says Jesus at John 4:24 in the Bible.
Spirits are not flesh and blood.
Human beings were made, and The Creator made them and creation here on earth, to eat.
Being made in his image, has to do with his qualities.....justice, wisdom,power and love .
Man possesses these qualities from God.in God's image.
A human being may have a child, that doesn't mean the child will like the foods, his parent(s) love.

The need to eat is a physical condition. God is a Spirit, and not a man.
