What's my problem ? Should I just let go?
REPOST : I don't understand. I really liked this girl unfortunately she has now put me in the bro zone (I'm sure I waited too long. I was positive she was interested before). Anyway, most guys in my situation would be like screw it. I'm not however. I'd rather be like a figure to her and help guide her, than lose her, because she wont be my GF. What's wrong with me? Is that odd?

There's nothing wrong with you, and it's not odd. You genuinely care about this girl, and she's lucky to have you in her life. Maybe she thinks SHE was stuck in the friend zone. You never know.

There is no such thing as the "friend zone". The "friend zone" is something made up by men who absolutely cannot accept that a woman does not actually like them that way. She does not like you. Get over it. And quit trying to control her life.
