Affectionate/pet names for son in German?
What are some affectionate terms/names a father might call his (5 year old) son in German?
More info, if needed:
Kid's traits: fearless, escape artist, blond, tall, empathetic, nurturing to his sisters, bit overdramatic
Father's traits: verbally effusive (he is an artist/poet temperament), from north up near Denmark, calls his daughters 'Prinzeßin' and "Süße", a bit overdramaric, prizes physical strength and intelligence as well as creativity
Native speakers preferred. Please no answers from about.com or the like.
Are those actual names that would be used, though? I mean, I was just giving a description of the kid in case it influenced what he'd be called. Like, each of my own kids has a nickname based on their personalities. My oldest is 'monkey' because she's acrobatic and silly, my middle is 'bug' from 'love bug/cuddle bug,' etc.

fearless - Düvelskerl
escape artist - Utneiher
blond - Strohkopp
tall - Sladderbüx
empathetic - Smusback
nurturing - Sabbelsnut
overdramatic - Spökenkieker
Those are all in Low German. People from the far North tend to prefer such pet names.
Pet names would be used affectively, in certain moments, as a comment or reaction, but not as a substitute for the real first names in the daily routine. The kids would hardly tolerate this.
