Leaving gift for a friend?

One of my best friends is going out to study in Belgium for a while and I would like to get her a small gift to say goodbye and to have a safe trip. I have a card but am a bit unsure of a nice wee thing to get her.

Any ideas?

    Maybe something to remind her of home- something from your city perhaps?

    Or maybe a photo frame with a photo of you and her so she remembers a happy memory of you?

    Maybe a book she might enjoy?

    Another good idea is to get her a 'guardian angel' model.

    And don't forget to keep in touch while she's studying in Belgium!

    I saw this great idea for a gift online. You find a whole bunch of people that care about her and make them all get a small present and write a card. Also get a lot of flowers, colored ribbon, a huge box and helium balloons. Tie the helium filled balloons to the ribbons, and tie the presents, cards and flowers also to the strings. Tape the strings to the bottom of the box, close the box and decorate it. Then leave it in front of your friends door.
