Should I do a year in industry?

I am studying pharmaceutical chemistry 3 years bsc, Im not sure if I should do a year in industry or do a internship in the summer. I was thinking about doing a graduate entry into a pharmaceutical company. im not sure can some one help me figure out my future

I would say definitely. The extra experience will make you so much more employable, and people who do them tend to do better in their degrees. If you're lucky you may be offered a job at the place you did your placement for after you graduate. I would go for the whole year, to get more experience and stand out more.

I would so do a summer internship, because you still get the experience, but you don't have to take over a year out of education, and you may find it difficult/weird to get back into the swing of things

On my degree course we did two, six moth placements.. Experience counts as much as anything else.
