What age did your voice change/face shaving?
Hello Men, I wanted to ask you at what age your voice changed to the booming male voice and when you started developing facial hair and shaving. This is pure curiosity, I know everyone develops differently. I have a 13-year-old boy, and I'm wondering about these changes. I have asked his father how old he was, and he doesn't remember (really?). His friends are a smorgasbord of deep voices and boy voices, and some have some whispy facial hair. It's junior high.
So tell me Men, how old were you?

Yeah, I'm with your husband = I can't remember.
On the timescale of a 13 yr. old boy it happens in slow motion.
And you can't hear your own voice
Unless you are a choirboy singing top notes you don't realise that
your voice sounds deeper to other people.
A boys voice drops by an octave to an octave and a half musically.
It takes about 3 -4 years to do the whole drop.
Chest resonance at 18 completes the depth.
I started shaving at 16.5 years.
There is currently a fashion among boys to shave body hair.

Hey, so I'm 16 and honestly I started getting larger sideburns in like 8th grade maybe even 7th. I'm now a junior in high school and have a full beard . I've had a full beard since the middle of freshman year so it only took about 2-3 years to get a full beard. Hope this helps! And btw about my voice, I still have a kind of normal pitched voice, where as my friends all have deeper voices. So I hope my voice will get deeper!
