Is this enough money to buy a parakeet and everything it needs?
I have $170 and I want to buy a parakeet. I obviously need to buy the bird, the cage, the food, and the toys. Is this enough money?

If you buy the cage from a flea market or second hand, then that should be plenty depending how much your planning on spending on yoyr birdy. I bought a medium sized birdcage for 15 bucks new i just washed it really nice just incase instead of spending over 100 dollars for something from the store in asmaller size.
