How to find the least aggressive parakeet at a pet store?
I am a first time parakeet owner and I am going to get my bird from Petco or Petsmart. I don't know if there is any 100% guaranteed way to pick out a bird that is not aggressive, but if there are any tips on how to pick a nice bird, it would be very helpful. Also, can you please tell me some behaviors that aggressive birds do at the store so that I can avoid them. Thanks! :)

I just bought mine three days ago and I got the one that didn't move when we approached the cage and I can already touch his feet and stomach. Stubborn eater though. Hope this helps

Don't buy from petco or petsmart. That's how.
By buying from them, not only do you support people who import birds and over breed birds (where they buy from) you support petco / petsmart, both of whom have been witness's giving awful care to their animals. They once had a parakeet out of their cage for days and couldn't catch it.

Ask each parakeet how was your day good sir/mam? If they don't respond that just tells you they are rude and most likely aggressive
