I graduated from school 7 years ago. This year I added one of my classmates on facebook and we started talking about what we do in life. He asked if I am in a relationship and I said no.
Then he said that he wants to talk about private things so he can know if we have chemistry because he thinks I may be the one for him. It was ok for me to talk about anything but I did not accept to do the things he asked me to do (sensual things) I told him that we are not even friends and such things are only for married people. Then when he knew I am willing to stay a virgin until marriage he stopped calling
did I fail in this relationship?
what was the right thing to do?

Wow, so you virgins think that what you have is so valuable that right up front you start off telling people that you're 'saving' IT until marriage??? Hehe, good for you? We have a global divorce rate of 54% BUT you think saving IT will be of some benefit? IMO the less you know about pleasing your sig OTHER-The more probability of rapid divorce. Say we are listing most to least IMPORTANT things that hold a marriage together::If sexual satisfaction is listed below 2 by you--You have NO chance of it surviving.

Anything you believe is the right thing to do, IS the right thing to do. If he can't accept you as you are then he probably isn't for you and from what i read, you definitely deserve someone better. Any guy would be nothing but lucky to have a wife that is still a virgin when they marry her. its ok, some people believe in sex after marriage, its pretty common.

Are you kidding? The guy was attempting to use you for a quick thrill. Don't even give a guy like that a second thought.
Yes, you did the right thing. And next time, don't discuss sex with a guy you're not solidly involved with, especially since you don't intend to act on it. It gives them the wrong idea. If you intend to remain a virgin in body, then remain one in mind too. Anything less just confuses the issue.
