What foundation is best for covering up acne?

I have a problem with my acne. Please do not suggest home remedies or using medication. I've done it before and it just does not work. In fact, my face reacts worse when I use things like that. I've recently ran out of foundation and I need more. It's really can't be over $30, and I am ordering it on Amazon...so....anyway, I just need some suggestions. I need the foundation to have REALLY great coverage for acne. I have combination oily/dry skin--leaning more on the oily side. I also have hormonal issues that I am taking care of that throws everything out of control--like acne, so like I said, don't waste your time and suggest ways to clear up the acne because it's not going to help. It might have for you, but it won't for me since of the hormonal issues and just nothing will work on my skin. In fact, my acne clears up better when I just use water to clean my face, so if you're going to suggest medical products to help my acne you might as well not answer at all. Sorry if I sound too blunt, but I don't want to waste your time, and I don't really have time for it. So I just need suggestions for really good coverage foundation, under $30, and it will be ordered on Amazon--if that matters.

Thank you so much!

Your best bet is to use a concealer and apply it over any blemishes, usually you get a shade lighter than your skin tone. You would then use foundation and set it with powder.

Green tinted concealer is amazing at neutralizing the redness of pimples, believe me it works. I also had a friend in college who used to dab green eye-shadow onto her pimples as an emergency if she ever ran out of concealer.

All skin is different and you really need to experiment and see what is right. If you have combination skin it's more difficult, maybe you could try a tinted moisturizer too, there is a lot out there. you just have to experiment.

I have the same problem I'm pregos and so acne is really bad right now. Liquid foundation has a lot of chemicals that clog ur pores. I'm using 100% mineral makeup its around 100 bucks for a 6mnth supply. Its called Royale I got it a couple weeks ago and it works pretty doesn't feel cakey at all. Good luck.

Revlon Colourstay in Combination/Oily, definitely. It has great coverage, which is also buildable, meaning that it will cover up your acne well, and the fact that it is specifically formulated for combination/oily skin will suit your personal skin type. Just be sure not to purchase the Normal/Dry skin formula, as there is two different types.

I have oily, spot-prone skin, and this is my favourite foundation by far. Other foundations, even expensive MAC ones will break my skin out into spots, but this one is perfect. As it's also a drug store brand, it isn't expensive.

They also have a really great range of shades :)

    Amazon US: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=a9_asi_1?rh=i%3Aaps%2C...

Price on Amazon.com ranges from about $9.99 to $11.36.

As I said, be sure to buy the oily/combination formula, as there are a few different types of the foundation.

I pay £12.49 in the drugstore, which would be $19.61 where you live.

Also, as you will be buying your foundation online, be sure to use www.findation.com in order to find your perfect colour match for any foundation. You just select previous colours of foundation that you have used, and it tells you which colours in other foundations that would suit you.

    Hope this helps :)
