I am a 21 year old female. Never had a boyfriend, never held a boys hand.

Since starting uni 6 boys on my course have asked me out, i have politely declined all because i did not know these boys at all really, nor they me.

but there is one guy who i am friends with, we hang around all the time. He is funny and nice, and smart and intersting. He is 36 years old...

he told me the other day i was pretty and just recently asked me if i wanted to sleepover.hes also been asking me about my view on dating and if i have a boyfriend and stuff.

Now my question is, as someone with no boy experience and i going somewhere bad?

is this age gap going to cause ay obvious issues?

First class degree mark?

In order to get a first class degree do second year results matter?

My friends second year was worth 25% i think (he got a good 2:1) but in order to get a first what is needed?

3rd year is 75% with the dissertation being 75% of that year.

Long story short I had a pimple on my nose and for some reason it left some dry skin, almost like a scab even though i didnt pop it.

Anyhoo I removed this dead skin and now i have a deep linear wound. It is very deep but quite narrow and there seems to be lymph fluid excreting from it. It has been like this for 2 days with no ointments or anything.

I have put some petroleum jelly on it now as i read moist healing is the way to go.

My question is, how long will this wound take to heal?

and why did the pimple leave a wound in the first place? It didnt look deep...

Its a weird scab though.

Its on my nose from an injury, but it seems flat.

usually scabs are raised so tat the skin underneath can heal.

If the scab is flat, how can the skin heal?..

I had a sever cystic pimple on my nose of all places.

I had it drained by my derm.

the problem is that now its is still very raised and raw, leaking clear fluid (lymph?)

it is very painful and throbbing.

Anyway, it has been like this for about 3 days.

It was a very big pimple.

my derm says that if it is not healed fully in 2 weeks then go back...

I dont mind redness but it is still raised.

The lymph kinda forms a crust (sorry)

So, any ideas what to do in the meantime?

she didnt give me any precise instrcutions. Just to avoid sun and irritating it.

I dont really have success with the moist healing, i prefer dry healing but its not exactly forming a scab...

tldr: how to treat post cystic pimple swelling, on raw raised skin on nose.

I have managed to irritate my skin on my nose and it has been very flaky and itchy recently.

well i think i let it dry out too much because this morning it cracked and started weeping.

now i am left with some red skin that is raw and weeping.

i have been keeping it moist because moist healing is actually better.

does anyone have any suggestions/tips?

how long will it last?

do i ice it?

I made a scrapbook for my bf full of all the things weve done and it was really nice, not tacky or anything.

i showed it to him the other day and as he was looking through it he said he didnt like a few things.

i made a page of all the funny things hes done and said and he said that he thought it was embarrassing and closed the book before even finishing it...he said he didnt like it

this book took along time to make and plan, it was a really good and full scrapbook.

i dont know what to do now, i have the book atm, i didnt think he deserved it.

he hasnt even apologized.

One is a dog themed one, lined paper and smallish.

Im dealing with a girl who is verbally abusive.

She is a hypocritical feminist. She does not know what feminism means, she thinks it means women superiority not equality and as a result is abusive to men.

She also has PTSD and is incredibly nasty about people she has never met. She then has these pathetic panic attacks. She has PTSD as a result of being dumped. She deserved it. she was very mean to him.

She is not very clever, but she thinks she is. She rolls her eyes all the time whenever people (esp men) say anything, even though they are right and she is wrong. (she got cs at Alevel)

She criticized people for their own opinion.

In short, I cant deal with this person anymore, i have cut her out from my life but she is still very abusive and ultimately needs to learn. Men dont do anything back to her becuase if they did she woulf report them or lie about them abusing her (she has done before)

Any suggestions as to how to make her learn?

I have a scab on my face from falling over.

Now, ive done some research and ive read that keeping the area moist will speed up the healing process. If i keep aloe on it how long do you think until the skin is no longer broken?

I would preferably like it gone by thursday. Its monday now, and it happened on saturday.

I feel so depressed at the moment, i am crying. I feel alone and empty.

I have no friends really, no one to talk to. My family is far away.

I have a facial deformity, my left eye does not open fully and my left side of my mouth and cheek droop. I havent mentioned it on yahoo before, but it is really obvious and people stare all the time.

I have acne too, and terrrible scars on my nose.

I have no one, no best friend to hang around with. no one at all.

Im crying as i write this, you may laugh or tell me my defomity is only superrficial, but its not. It affects my speech and above all my confidence. i know there is worse out there, and you may tell me that. I know, but that doesnt help me much. I am grateful, but i feel sorry for myself too.

I used to have a boyfriend, but it turns out he didnt really love me. He felt sorry for me.

I dont know what i should do.

Do you keep pimple scabs moist or dry?

I read somewhere that you should prevent a scab forming in the first place by keeping the area moist.

I have a scab atm, and if you keep it moist it is meant to increase healing time.

I usually keep themdry, but i want to test out the moist way.

What actually works faster?

Id like to get rid of this scab in 2 days time. Its not that big, but its quite raised.

Basically, My friend has a very shallow small indent on her nose from a pimple 2 weeks ago. I think it is is more of a box scar than an ice pick.

She would like to get rid of it. I have some Differin left, which is a retinoid which are known to help collagen production. I know that the scar will become shallower over time, but will the differin help at all? People say it helps with fine lines and wrinkles and large pores, and since the scar is shallow will it help a bit?

Are there any at home remedies? I could find any,but any tips would be appreciated.

My friend had a pimple on her nose, right bang in the centre but not on the end.

It was pore sized, red with no obvious opening, although when pressed she said it would go yellow, I presume that was puss.

She steamed her face, and squeezed the pimple. She said a bit of clear liquid came out (lymph?) and a plug, kinda like what comes out of a blackhead. I think maybe it was an inflamed blackhead.

Anyway, blood appeared and the pimple is now raised and red. Its not very big, but its quite obvious because of where it is.

She has tried: Aloe Vera, Green tea, Nappy rash cream, TTO, and icing it. It still hasn't improved.

I don't think acne products should be used as it is now an open wound, so has anyone got any advice. It's been 3 days and it hasn't improved.

How long will it take to flatten?

I have a friend who is really really lazy. We are on a society committee and she never does her jobs, or even turns up to half the meetings. She says she will and then doesnt, we ring and text her but she doesnt reply. We have meetings with tutors and again she doesnt turn up. I couldt care less if it was on her own, but its group work and its not fair. She is so lazy and unreliable but she doesnt care. Weve confronted her about it and she apologises but it keeps happening.

She is annoying and we are thiking of kickinger her out of the society and group work at this rate.

My family is from pakistan just to clarify im not being racist, although im not a muslim.

My question is why do they wear so much eyemakeup? they wear a headscarf for a reason, to keep themselves out of mens eyes and to be modest (some of my family is muslim, i know im being a bit general here), so why contradict it with so much makeup? it doesnt look nice.

What are some good museums in Rome which house some egyptain antuquities? They have to be in Rome.

My mom is really stressing me out. Im 20 yet she treats me like a kid. Im at uni and she always has to tell me what i can and cant do, shes far too possesive. She lets me older siblings do whatever they like. But whenerver i have an issue she always just yels, she never helps. Shes always negative and whenever i prove her wrong she gets my dad to yell at me and make out as though shes the victim. Im never allowed to chill at home,; Im the only child who helps around the house and who ever does anything. Im going away soon on a uni trip for my cours and shes trying to meake me not go! its 25% of my overall degree, so obvs i have to go.

She is so negaive and mean all the time that it is emotionally draining. I help around the house when im at home, even though i am at uni and have alot of work to do. Im not the youngest, im the middle. Why is it like this?
