This song is a cheap ripoff right?
There is this song which is quiet popular around here right now called "You remember" by "Gentleman". But what pisses me off so much is that it is a total ripoff of "Fields of Gold" originally by Sting but especially Eva Cassidy's version is so similar. The intro is a 1:1 copy and the melody
Is stolen too. Where can u report something like this?

I hear the "You remember" as being the same notes, but I don't think it's similar enough to warrant a lawsuit.
Honestly, in this culture he may have used bits (called sampling) from the song and has had to pay rights to use the song. So he may already be shelling out if it warrants such.
