Does anyone know a very pale powder?
This is very early, but I am thinking about my Halloween costume for this year. I am going to be going out as Goldie from Sin City because my boyfriend is going out as Marv. (see picture below). However, she is super pale (the movie is in primarily black and white), I am not that pale. I have a slight olive tone to my skin, and it is usually darker after the summer. Does anyone have any suggestion for powders that work well to pale the skin for a short time? I really want to get this look down well! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Manic Panic has a line of powders, Vampire's Veil or something with a silly goth name, but they're designed to lighten skin tone several shades. Then again, they're also marketed as costume makeup for gothy types, so it might give you a corpsey look. They also have a white cream base and Virgin powder, which is stark white. MAC also has a huge variety of shades, many that are extremely light.

I think a very pale high coverage foundation with a translucent powder would be better than just powder. If you want to use only powder you can have a look at Rimmel's true match powder(shade true ivory) it is slightly more creamy than other powders.Whatever you chose to use just make sure that you apply it to your neck so it wont look like a mask.
