Today I bought a lip gloss from Superdrug. I vaguely checked that it has a seal. It was vertical in the shelf so I checked from top. I came home and I rush to try it. Just that i was trying I noticed the seal was actually broken before I used it.

Basically it has the parts of the plastic seal in both ends but a big part from the middle is missing but its not very easy to see it because its the same color with the tube. I acted without thinking and quickly and i put it on my lips. Now i am worried that I could get something nasty.

I am sure I didn't break it myself. It doesn't look like it happened accidentally but more like somebody actually cut that part off. I washed my lips with antibacterial soap immediately though i don't think it can prevent something like herpes.

I normally never ever use the testers on my face and I am really paranoid about germs and viruses. What do you think the risk of getting something from this lip gloss?
