Its right that Britain spends some of its aid budget on defense and peacekeeping?

I'd rather the money went to the NHS and education.

I agree we give too much money to countries who can't be bothered sorting out their own problems e.g. those like India who pump millions into nuclear weapons programmes, yet they still can't house, feed, clothe and educate their own people and permits slavery - sorry, child labour.

Consider this, Cameron stumps up £1bn for India on a trip to sell helicopters built by an Anglo-Italian firm costing £3/4 bn;taxpayers money goes to India, India spend it with Anglo-Italian firm.

Taxpayers money goes to private Anglo-Italian firm, with small change (£250000000) left over for incidentals, all brokered by Indian Government.

Therefore Indians get helicopters free, private Anglo-Italian firm get £750000000, all out of British purse, Cameron gets a pat on the back, and thousands of innocents get butchered.

And Britain continues to sink.

The so called aid is lubricant for doing business smoothly .

What is given in the name of aid is discarded machinery

It is wrong that Britain even has an aid budget, we're £1,000,000,000,000 in debt ffs.

I think the time is well overdue for the aid budget to be spent on our own people. It is our money after all.
