So I'm 16 and was stupid enough to have unprotected sex a week ago. Now I have bleeding which is lighter than my period and a week early, and feel like I'm going to throw up. Pretty sure I'm pregnant so now I need to know how long until I take the test so I don't get a false negative. How to tell the father as well.

I'm 16 and am pregnant. I got married to my babys dad who just turned 19. He joined the marines and were living on our own and I'm due in 3 weeks. I'm going to be all by myself for 7 months while he's in training. It's super scary! Trust me... If you are it's not going to be easy. I feel like I'm in 25 and I'm only 16. Wait a few more weeks then take a pregnancy test. If its still negative and no period go to your doctor.

Normally women take the test 36hrs after unprotected sex. An the best way to tell the farther is to invite him to dinner an wait for the right time to tell him

Take a test next week. In the mean time eat healthy and don't drink or smoke just in case.  Don't tell anyone unless you get a positive. If it is positive, sit down with your bf and tell him.

Take the test. And if it comes up negative, always use protection in the future. Please! Your parents do not want to raise their grandchild while you finish high school, and I am hoping that you are wanting to go to college. A baby changes plans.
