Did the meat make people less hungry? Did it taste fine? Horse meat, cow meat...so what. Both meat. What's the problem? If you don't trust the food industry then produce and prepare your own food.
I wouldn't have a problem with it if I couldn't tell the difference when I was eating it. It's still food. Society is so spoiled.
