What can I tell my friend to stop laying into me about food?

Hey there guys,

A bit of my back story: I have been vegetarian going on 5 years now, and have been vegan for a year. I am a healthy weight, albeit on the slim size, am rarely sick except for migraines, have tons of energy and only have iron deficiency, however I have had this since I was a little girl and seems to be ingrained in my genetic make-up instead of related to my diet.

I often deal with a lot of stupid comments from people when they find out I'm vegan (I don't usually tell people until they notice it when I sit down at the dinner table because of this) but recently, my friend has bee really laying into me. I normally eat a big bowl of fruit for breakfast, which normally consists of banana, apple, strawberries and pineapple. I generally sprinkle some coconut, walnuts, chia seed and 1 tbsp oatmeal on top, then I have some green tea and maybe a toasted full grain mini-pita (with nothing on it... they taste like chips haha) so that I can absorb my multivitamin a bit better. I always feel full and satisfied with this, and I find it wakes me up better than any other breakfast. My friend, on the other hand, won't stop digging into me about how all it is is sugar and the reason I'm not hungry for hours is because I don#t eat right and it's unhealthy to eat so little and my body needs protein and BLABLABLA. MY stats are excellent, with the eception of iron, which I am taking supplements for. How can I get her to stop?

    ** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Also I think younger people lose weight quicker.     Honestly, she's probably jealous. I would be too haha, I wish I could eat like you. Just tell her you're getting everything you need and you just don't have a big appetite. Tell her the nuts give you enough protein. Invite her to breakfast or something and let her eat the same thing as you, maybe she will see that it fills you up pretty well. If she still bugs you, ignore it or roll your eyes and change the subject so she knows you don't want to talk about it.
