If you are interested in becoming a police officer, you should definitely become a law enforcement explorer if you can. If you can't find any information about explorer programs there, call your local police department, and ask to speak with someone. Find out if there is a post in your area and when and where they have their meetings. then you just go to a meeting and let them know you wish to join. I have worked with Explorers from our department's post and from a city in our district, If there had been police explorers when I came of age to make the move, I would have been in scouts a lot longer.
