9/11 was believable; we saw that as it was happening so the headlines that night and the next day were viable.

Well yea 9/11 was the one that hit me the hardest. It was hard to believe, even as I watched the second plane crash (on the news). When something that horrific happens, it takes a while for it to sink in.
I'm not comparing Michael Jackson's death to 9/11, but it was very hard for me to believe that he had really died. I'm a hugh fan, have been ever since he and I were both kids. I'm only a few years younger than him. I have been a hugh fan for as far back as I can remember. It took a long time for it to actually sink in. I am a music lover. Music is my life, and MJ was a big part of it. His music, dance, videos etc... still are.

Bush Jr at a press conference saying that there were WMDs in Iraq. My first thought was that the report he read from contained a typo and it meant Iran. But he kept saying Iraq throughout the whole conference. Mind boggling.
