Who thinks that the 2nd amendment of the Constitution should be repealed ?I don't!?

It needs to be reinforced. The stupid pea-brained liberals think the "militia" refers to the military, because they don't understand the entire Bill of Rights was written ONLY for the people. Whereas you and I understand this, they don't, and they will try to use it against you.

Has anyone suggested banning guns or is that the gun owners' fear created by the NRA?

I haven't heard anyone suggest "banning guns," yet it's all over this website for the last three days as in "Why do liberals want to ban guns?" What I HAVE heard is that we should close the gun show loophole, that we should come up with a solution to illegal guns, that we should limit the size of clips that can be sold, that perhaps an assault weapons ban is in order again and that we need to fund mental health resources.

I fail to see how any rational gun owner would or should have a problem with any of these solutions.

I want more vigorous enforcement of the laws we have. I want the GOP to get off its moral high horse and FUND the data base that is supposed to track the mentally ill for gun background checks.

Guns have their place, but cities and towns are to crowded for them. If you don't have a gun. you can't shoot anyone. Life is precious!!
