The darkside of Cilantro?
Throughout all 20 years of my life I've often encounter dishes that had a distinct flavor of Raid and cockroaches about it. It wasn't until yesterday when I prepared a vegan dish with cilantro I discovered this wholesome evil. I puked it up and couldn't eat for a day. The FDA should warn people about this. It is undoubtedly the root of all evil. Has anyone else here experienced this foul soapy(raid) flavor from Cilantro?

The FDA should warn people not everyone likes cilantro? How about no. You either have the gene that allows you to enjoy cilantro or you don't.

I love coriander/cilantro. I makes thai and indian cooking wonderful. I think some people are just fussy eaters and every time someone tells me they can't eat coriander/cilantro I judge them and find them guilty of being a bit simple.

lol, to me it smells skunky.
I have developed a taste for it but beware, lots of people put way to much in so it ends up overwhelming the dish, not enhancing it.
A little goes a long way.
