Poll: Average time it took you to find a job?
I want to know the following things:
1.) Degree (4 year, 2 year, grad school, hs)
2.) Amount of time it took to find a full time job after a job loss or job change.
3.) State you are in and the year this took place.
Thanks!
4.) Where you actively searching?

Nearly 2 years ago, I quit my job as a chef at a local restaurant, and started the next day in a franchise restaurant that my friend was a manager with. It helps to keep in contact with people you have worked with. I have a 4 year degree in psychology and live in Iowa.

Associate's in Nursing so 2 yr (graduated in August 2012)
Still looking (started looking in July, and this is November.)
Pennsylvania, right now!!!!
Yes. I pounds the pavement and actively send cover letters, resumes and applications via indeed.com and monster.com every single day. I've literally applied to every nursing position on those sites, that is within 50 miles of my home. Even drove 52 miles (one way) to a job interview yesterday. No one wants to hire a charge nurse with no supervisory experience, and most nursing positions require a year of experience under their scope of practice in a doctors office/long term care/other specialty of the job.
Quelle(n): I'm a nurse :-)
