We are all too happy to pay our money to step inside the theater and, in the name of "entertainment", sit and watch as death is spread across the big screen,( prime example: Dark Knight Rises) never giving thought as to how such vivid displays may be affecting not only the whole of our society, but the individual thought process of the person sitting right behind us.

We don't mind when our children sit for hours, playing video games in which weaponry is chosen with the pressing of a button for the purpose of completing a personal action resulting in a bloody animated killing scene of the child's own making.

We have come to watch for the "mature content" crawler posted below a news report with great anticipation warning of a video displaying the mass murder of bombing victims.

Many of us searched the internet for the video of the hanging of Saddam Hussein. We watched the posted pictures of a dead Ghadaffi, and few of us can deny our anxiousness to see the pictures of a dead Bin Laden.

The reality just may be that, as a society, we have become conditioned to accept and even, in some strange way are attracted to such perverse actions, much like the ancient Romans at the Coliseum......that is...until they directly affect us.

That is what happens when too many people are jammed too close together combined with extremely poor economy and widespread unemployment.

The frustration just gets to be to much to handle and some of the humans "snap".

If this guy had not had a gun, he would have used knives (as many have), or rammed a car through the crowd (as many have), or attacked with his hands (as many have).

Is it time to make knives, cars, and hands harder to get than it is to adopt pets?

So what about the 40,000 Mexican nationals that were killed by the U.S. government guns that got loose with their insanity? Huh? what about this administration purchasing 3.5 billion rounds of ammo Hollow point style? or the Social security office buying 150 million rounds of this ammo? Huh Who the hell is going to stop them? oh Wait lets not forget the 40,000 drones they are unleashing on us right this very hour, I want to know where I can buy a law that will reach 50,000 feet to hit a drone thats flying over my house while I am in the back yard naked (sic) Hmm Tell me about how I am supposed to protect myself from the government thats out of control? Education is the key. Education, stiffer penalties for illegal purchases and make it tougher to get guns. But if someone wants a gun, they will get a gun. There is no stopping it.
