regarding sandisk, imation, kingston...?

i gonna get a thumbdrive the purpose is to provide me a low cost small sized backup copy of files that could last me years. basically i got backup copies of my files in my places few harddisk in different locations memory cards, burned to dvds with gold layers. So i decided to keep certain files as backup copies in thumbdrives hence which brands is the most reliable if there is any other then those i stated...

The reliability becomes important when you use them often.

Any of them will do well, if you use them just a few times a year, do not delete stuff until they are full, and store them in a cool, dry place.

I think any of the major brands are reliable, just avoid cheap junky stuff. Don't brutalise it, and always do "Safely Remove" before you take it out of your PC.
