Does Partisanship in Congress exist as much as the media says it does?
I feel like media outlets (both sides included) portray Partisanship as a biigger issue than it really is, in order to sway voters a certain way. What do you think?

I don't think many politicians really have a partisan mindset. In practice, it's hard to hate your coworkers and not listen to what they're saying! But politicians often toe the party line when it comes to voting for political reasons. A lone Democrat siding with the Republicans on an issue (or vice versa) is risking his popularity with voters, and the support of the rest of the party.
