Which option would be the best idea for me?

I have a 1989 toyota camry dlx 5spd 4cyl that I bought for myself as my first car. I have 3375 dollars into it so far. This is a car that you do NOT see everyday... the car is in mint mint mint condition, and books for 4,600 dollars on nada. 86k miles on her and has original jack, breaklines, exhaust, everything is original... So i bought a garage for it to store it in the winter because I am trying to preserve it for as long as I can. I am very anal with my belongings, especially my vehicles. So heres the question. Should I be looking for a winter beater for the winter? as in a vehicle costing less than 1200 dollars. or should I trade in my camry for a newer suv that has a v8 and 4x4 (i am looking at a suburban right now.) I have a steady income for myself, so monthly payments will NOT be an issue. Which option should I do? thanks.!!!!!
