what should i upgrade for my computer??? read on below...?

My computer was bought in year 2008 its 4.5 yrs to date and the specs were 1gb of ram, intel e4700 cpu 2.6ghz(2cpu), a 320gb hdd (unknown rpm) and a dead nvidia graphics card becus my motherboard once spoilt 2 yrs back and my graphics card spoilt together. 

With a changed motherboard 2 yrs ago, it ran an intel card... below are the specs taken from dxdiag program...

what should i upgrade to improve my computer speed keeping in mind i have a budget of maximum sgd $300 or us $241 to spend...

If you don't want to spend some extra money for a laptop. 

I would advise getting a better graphics card + around 3 more GB's of Memory

Just buy Windows 7, 

Or even more you could do a the Beta/Customer Preview of Windows 8 until like next Feb. 

It is an early version so there could always be problems. 

But getting windows 7 will help your machine.

Its an old system so not really worth upgrading maybe a different Graphics card As what you have is no good .
