if my fish dies in the tank should the pet shop replace it?

I got 2 fish the other day and added them to my tank (malawi's) one died with in 7 hours and the other is doing fine. should the pet shop replace my fish?

They should. A lot Of places require a sample of your tank water as well with the dead fish and a receipt. So just in case call the store and ask what you need specifically :)

some pet shops will replace the death animals and some not. if you have the receipt of purchase then it will be a chance they will replace as long as you did everything right not to harm fish they should take the fish back .

Most will and should as long as you have your receipt,
We have a local pet shop that won't replace anything if it has did in transport or over the night there policy is as soon as you have the premises the animals are no longer their responsibility.

they will just take it in there with ur receipt and they'll give u a new fishy
