In which knowledge gaps will God be hidden 500 years ahead, when quantum mech, big bang etc. will be explored?
People tend to put God in places they don't know about.
500 years ago, people believed God lived in heaven up in the sky, hell was a fiery realm below the surface, Earth was roughly 5500 years old and God created everything in 7 days.
This God has been disproved. Not challenged, disproved!
We KNOW such a God didn't exist! We know above the sky is space, below the surface is solid or molten rock, but no prison realm. We know Earth is about 4.5 billion years old and lifeforms changed and developed through evolution.
Today, those religious people who not entirely reject reason, try to place him where contemporary science has knowledge gaps: Quantum mechanics, big bang, or the first step from DNA-like chemicals to life.
In another 500 years, these topics will likely be explored, and God, as commonly proposed today, will be disproved again.
Where might he be hidden then? What if finally all knowledge gaps about nature are filled?

Only the feeble minded saw God as literally living in the sky or hell literally being in the bowels of the earth. Both the domain of God and hell if the exist exist outside the physical realm in a place know as the Spiritual realm. Your opening assertion amounts to a Straw Man.
God is not a part of nature - The creator is not the creation - therefore one would not expect God to be found in nature - at least not directly. This alone collapses your allusion to God existing in the gaps in scientific knowledge. Since nobody who was biblically literate thought that God literally lived in the sky or hell literally exited in the bowels of the earth there was nothing to be disproved and asserting 'we KNOW such a God didn't exist is meaningless because nobody competent to discuss the subject asserted such a God existed!
If God exists, God exists in a spiritual realm not the physical realm. Science has embraced the philosophy of materialism and therefore does not encompass any spiritual realm so the assertion somebody is trying to place God where contemporary science has gaps is nonsensical!
Since you bring up the question of reason, lets look at your notion science will finally fill all the gaps about nature. The laws governing the physical universe are peculiar to the physical universe and came into existence with the physical universe. Therefore science will never provide an explanation for the origin of the universe that is testable, observable or objectively verifiable. Asserting science will fill this gap amounts to a rejection of reason!
Quantum Mechanics does not amount to a gap in scientific knowledge but rather the next major step in the development of scientific thinking. At this point not only does Quantum mechanics push right against the metaphysical, it also quite literally is one experiment away from refuting the philosophy of materialism. When that happens a complete overhaul of the presuppositions currently maintained by science will be necessary if science is to remain credible or viable. God is not the one who is in jeopardy due to science, science is in jeopardy due to the unproven presuppositions it has been operating under for that last 100 years.

"In another 500 years, these topics will likely be explored"
They are already being explored. Quantum mechanics has been being explored for nearly a century and the big bang has been around for over 100 years and we're constantly finding more out about the two things. Have you heard about the experiments verifying the existence of the Higg's Boson (that is quantum mechanics)? Have you heard about the research into quantum computing? Physicists state that we should have quantum computers on the market in the next 15 years or more. Richard Feynman and Max Planck were probably quantum mechanic's most prominent scientists. Feynman formulated quantum electrodynamics (QED) explaining the fundamental reactions between light and matter and Planck explained that light exists in packets called "quanta" and Planck's constant is seen everywhere in the mathematics of quantum mechanics as a means for using as a scale in interpreting distances at the levels where classical mechanics just won't work.
There won't be too many knowledge gaps in the next 500 years in these areas.

Most of what you said isn't accurate.
1. For most of the history of Christianity, no one believed the Earth was just a few thousand years old.
2. Ditto for the 7 day creation. Jews and Christians did not take that literally.
3. No one thought God lived in the sky. Paul, for example, ascribes the location of Heaven as the "Third Heaven." In Greek cosmology, the first heaven was the sky, the second was the realm of the planets and stars, and the third was the supernatural realm.
4. Um, you DO know that if you go down deep, it's pretty hot, right?
If you want to talk quantum mechanics, you should learn about it. Cutting edge quantum mechanics literature is telling us that consciousness (God) gave rise to the Universe, and not the other way around.

Hello Bruce, in my opinion, I think that the "colossal Bang" is right. The scenario is slightly one of a kind though. To my intellect, the Universe used to be created just the way in which the scientists feel. The change is that God said "Let or not it's", and BANG! The Universe used to be created. Have a great day.

That's assuming it's even in principle possible to figure out everything about QM, the Big Bang and abiogenesis.

The strange flaw in your argument is that God is rejected even in the revelation of Him.
Look what they did to Jesus Christ !
Maybe you need to think a little bit more?

When, if ever, are these bloody stupid atheists going to get it out of their heads that religion is a substitute for science.
Religion is a substitute for religion.

Of course, filling in scientific gaps with God is the theists' secret weapon.
