The Bible does not forbid interracial marriages. It does, however, forbid a Christian from marrying an unbeliever: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" (2 Cor. 6:14).
In Numbers 12:1-8 is an account of Moses marrying an Ethiopian woman. "And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman" (Num. 12:1).
Other Bible verses translate this as "Cush." Cush is the ancient location of Ethiopia. Miriam and Aaron were upset with Moses because he married a Cushite woman. Cush has also been considered to be the northern part of Egypt. Either way, it is very possible that the Cushite woman was of a different race. God defended Moses for marrying this woman. If race were an issue, this would have been a great place to set the matter straight.
Also, people of different races were not mentioned as being among those forbidden by God for Jews to marry, see Exodus 34:11.

The Bible doesn't forbid interracial marriage. There are places in the Old Testament where God forbids marriage of Israelites to members of the surrounding nations. But God didn't forbid those marriages because they were of a different race. He forbid those marriages because the surrounding nations worshipped idols instead of the God of Israel. In the New Testament, we see that God only has a problem with marriages between believers and unbelievers.
"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers." - 2 Corinthians 6:14
"A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. " - 1 Corinthians 7:39
The key part of that last verse being, "she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord."

It all depends on who you ask this question to and when it is asked. if you had asked this question in Mississippi around 1840, you would get a lot of warped interpretations from the bible and the average christian in the country would have agreed wholeheartedly. Today, you would get a similar answer from a christian kkk member or Christian identity member. Most modern US christians would say it does not say any such thing. There are still chrisian universities that forbid interracial dating (oral Roberts among them). The most common verses used to justify these thoughts are:
Deuteronomy 23:2: "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD."
Genesis 28:1: "And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan."
Leviticus 19:19: "Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind ..."
Deuteronomy 7:2-3: "And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them: Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.
Most modern christians would dismiss such talk as not being really christian and pretend that was never the common christian thought in this country in much the same way mormons pretend like they only recently renounced organized racism.

It does not. Miriam in the Bible was in fact punished by G-d for racist insults against the Ethiopian wife of Moses.

Because the Jews were supposed to be God's chosen people, and so were not to corrupt themselves with other tribes who worshipped other gods. It only applied under certain circumstances, though, and would certainly not apply to anyone living today who is not Jewish.
