Be prepared for one of the lowest paying careers in America. Junior pilots make less than an assistant manager at McDonalds these days. It's outrageous. There are also lots of laid off pilots out there right now, and not many jobs available.
You would need a commercial pilot's license, which requires ground school and at least 250 flying hours with an instructor. The schools are really expensive.
