Skyrim is a multi-platform game from a production company called Bethesda. It is the fifth game in the Elder scroll series. It takes place in the land of Tamreiel, Skyrim is a cold region very similar to Scandinavian countries. It's home to Nords, a human race resistant to cold, similar to Vikings. The game has two main quests, the quest of the dragon born: which is centered on killing the dragons evil ruler and saving the destruction of the world. The other quest is based on the struggle of Imperials verses the Nordic Storm cloaks. You can choose either side, and the quests thereout depend on which one you chose. There are many missions and side quests to go on besides the main two thou, and threw out the game dragons may drop down from the sky, it's basically a boss battle without warning, but you can adjust the difficulty setting at will incase you are not ready for it. This game is revolutionary for its story, its graphics, it's sheer size, and it's charecter

customization. You can choose from 10 different races: argonians (lizard race from a swampy area known as Black Marsh), Kajits (a feline race from a dessert terrain known for drugs, it's called Elsenwyer), Orcs (masculine race with green skin, they hail from Orcsinium- a mountain range), Redguards (humans with dark skin, they come from a Hammerfell), Nords (from Skyrim, they are fair skinned, resistant to cold and are often brutish), Bretons (magically gifted race that descended from worshippers of Old Gods), Imperials, (the desendents of the high king and residents of Tamriel), High elves ( from the Summerset isles, they have golden skin, are very slender and extremely tall: they are the most gifted in magic even among the elves), there's wood elves (from Valenwood, a dense wooded area, they are very skilled in archery and are the shortest of races). and finally dark elves (they have blueish skin and red eyes, they are from Morrowind and practice ansestrial worship).

Skyrim is a region in the Elder Scrolls series and also the name for their fifth game.
