I NEED HELP !!!!! PLEASE ! JUST take a shot at it?

so im 15 years old and weight 225lbs. no matter what i do i can't lose any weight. i've tried diets, cutting back all sweets, sugary snacks, and junk food. i've also made my proportions way smaller. there's nothing i can do to lose weight! i also hav a herniated disk in my back. im getting that figured out...but i cant do anything but walk. i do walk. and im very upset about my weight. it seems to just be going up !!! what should i do?

so i just checked out The Cabbage Soup's website. i'm going to try it! and i will try to do exercise but.....i have a herniated disk. im not allowed to do a lot of exercise. but...i walk. which IS good!! thank you for your help!!!

    You could have hypothyroidism. Which dumbed down is the rapid gain or loss of weight.

    You should go see your doctor is that is the case.

    i used to weight 225ibs aswell, you gotta look at it, how long you been doing it for. It does not happen at a snap of your fingers. It took me nearly a year too lose 36lbs. But they say the longer it takes to lose the longer you will keep it off. Keep excercising, If you have a bad week with sweets and little excercising make the next week a good week. Another thing is a diet called The Cabbage Soup Diet which you will loose 6-8lbs in a week, But you have to follow it. Throw excercise in with it and more could be lost in a week. Just google it and you will find it.

    you need to EXERCISE

    You said you do lots of things, but exercise was not mentioned.

    go for a run or jog every day after school. you need to be traning in your maximum threshould zone where you heart rate is 60% to 80% of 220 minus your age.

    If you watch programs like fattest loser USA or I used to be fat, they do a HELL of a lot of moving around. You need to be sweating you need to work your *** off, if you really want to lose weight. quitting is for losers.

    you also said that you're cutting back, eating less of this and that. forget about eating less, eat MORE of HEALTHY foods. lots of fruit and veg, 5 a day, low-fat foods, salads, salmon, fish, lots of proteins to help with your work outs and you need carbohydrates to give you energy.

    and I disagree with the person called 'frt' above, do not do those type of exercises. those are RESISTIVE exercises meaning that they do not help you lose weight, all they do is make you gain muscle mass. that is not what you want. research 'resistive training' and you'll know what i mean. you need to be doing aerobic long continuous exercises that make you sweat and cough and bleed, well not that exaggerated but you know what i mean

    You should keep eating healthy, but also try simple ab/arm exercises like pushups, crunches, sit-ups and all of those, because those are good exercise too. Whenever you are watching tv, just do some of those
