Christians: How do you feel about this persons ability to 'Debate' religion?

This person fits the saying of debating with a christian is like playing chess with a pigeon.

They fly down to the board, flap their wings and knock all the pieces off the board, crap on the board, and then fly away claiming victory.

The reason that the debate is weak is that the user has no proper concept of epistemology. Because she has no concept of what knowledge is and that she starts off by grounding idiotic assumptions as grand foundations for a theory/debate, she cannot win. A debate needs knowledge and rival opinions and theories bouncing off of each other in order to move towards a conclusion. Because she cannot understand what knowledge or truth is, she can't progress. She is therefore not smart enough to hold a debate

In my opinion this debate will continue until God reveals himself to all, if he does not then the debate will continue and go on and on.

I am a christian and this does nothing to affect my belief or faith in God and I do personally place all authority on the Bible as the word of God - but that is my choice.

I am always prepared to discuss the God//No God debate with people without feeling the need to become argumentative with people. - My apologies for the misunderstanding what I meant was I am always prepared to discuss the "debate" with people without the need for aggression as many people do. I dont claim that a debate is a contradiction it is 2 people/parties with different views being allowed to express each one their side and I believe that debates should be healthy and fun.

I also believe that there is a time coming soon when ALL will have to know that God exists and things will eventually be brought back into line with Gods original purpose.

I dont think that the manner of debate that you refer to is the correct way and I believe that it is full of flaws.

as for your last question you probably wont like my answer but because I have studied the Bible and other reference works I choose to believe what the bible says and attempt to apply it in my life, I dont claim that all answers are there but I do believe it reveals Gods purpose.

This is a futile exercise in Yahoo Answers as there is no tangible way to debate, and I love to debate religion. So Linda is nothing but a shmuck who pretends to be clever; one can only see what she rebuts "replies" in her "debate".

What argument. My book of fairy tales exists, ergo it must be true. I really want it to be true, ergo it is true. These arguments have no content. I have heard much, much better silly arguments defending fairies than this.

This is why the god debate had become so tiresome; they make up their own evidence when there is none, and then disregard ours.
