If someone I go to college with runs for POTUS some time in the future, are conservatives going to say...?

No. I went to school with a few budding communists, and one of my best friends from Canada was once a socialist (until he started running a business).

However, if that friend begins his campaign among close friends in the home of an unrepentent terrorist like BIll Ayers, listens to Marxist based theology for twenty years in he church of his choice, and follows the textbook example of Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals," then we might say otherwise.

Depends on if you're a communist, and if you two were once a part of the communist party. The fact that you're in college and actually think that communism works is pretty amusing to me seeing as how you're in school on either your parents dime or some sort of financial aid. Try getting financial aid in a communist country!

Conservatives don't believe in guilt by association. We believe in guilt by provable evidence, which is not hard to do if someone is a communist. They seem to love spouting their nonsense in public.
