Why do people say there is "socialist indoctrination" in public schools?

The idiots on this site went through the same schools so they know that is not true it is just another false distraction.

Let me give you an example:

One state college professor tells his students that socialism is wonderful. It's better than capitalism.

Now since the state college is supported by tax dollars it's technically a public school.

And remember, this was just ONE professor at ONE school.

So what do you think will be the headline in the right-wing press?

"Public Schools Teaching Socialism is Better Than Capitalism"

So like others here have said. Do your own research. Many so-called news agencies are more interested in gaining audience share than they are in giving an unbiased version of events.

Are the Public Schools teaching about all the SOCIALIST countries that are going BANKRUPT! We are bailing out EUROPE! When we are 15,000,000,o00,000.00 in DEBT!? Socialism doesn't WORK! Do you realize how much stuff costs to the consumers in Socialist countries? They can't afford buying FOOD!

Venesuela is so corrupted now with Govt- the people are burning dummies of Chavez, yet he gets 100% of the VOTE? More than half of the people there HATE HIM! The govt there brings their food to their doors! Rice , potatos and a couple of fish for a MONTH! Is that what you WANT TO EAT?

I learned that communism was evil too when I went to public school.

First off..... fascism and communism are so far apart as political philosophies that saying they are the "same thing" is like equating the colors black and white.... and saying they are "the same thing."

And unless you think that no European nation is "free" at present.... you learned wrong about socialism.

I would say that the people that say that are flat out IDIOTS.... and no further explanation is needed.

Probably because you teach in one, indoctrinating kids about Soviet apologism. I'd take my kid out and put him into a Chaebol Cramming School, where he'd only learn good, traditional, Korean Juche.

Sure there is. Things like there shouldn't be any letter grades.

But its more of the teachers pushing their pro-union, pro-socialist ideals on the students. Where it doesn't matter if you are good at something or not, the govt will provide.

It is easier to explain away the increase education/less conservative votes dynamic if you claim indoctrination. Conservatives cannot accept the fact that their ideology is usless around a sane person.

My sociology professor in college was an admitted socialist, and if you didn't agree with his bogus theories he would fail you. I had to pretend to agree with his garbage.
