Why is it an insult to call someone a Tool?
I understand that it is one, and i also understand which alleged characteristics are connected to it (i think) , but i don't really see the connection to a wrench or a hammer.
Can someone clarify?
PS: Maybe it is because i am not american, but how does 'Tool' allude to male genitalia?
Okay... i heard about a Black Hammer, but that is hardly an insult, is it?

a tool is something you use for something else.

Clearly, people with dirty minds think that a tool, in this case a hammer, does a "banging" job, hence, a penis.
But, as an example, a person can be a tool to a person who is rehabilitating from a bad car accident. The patient can utilize this helper/tool to improve his/her walking, feeding, whatever this person may need.
It infuriates when people use normal, regular words, to infer what is not. People such as yourself probably get confused.
