What kind of music do you listen to? And what is your political ideology?

I love obscure 80s alternative (One Dove, Cock Robin, etc), also classical, Persian classical (some 70s Persian pop) and I love the recent choral/classical film score genre such as Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy, Beowulf, etc.

Classical (esp Mozart, Beethoven, Strauss). Classic rock esp from the 70's. Also like rock/hard rock esp from the 90s through this decade. I also play guitar (acoustic and electric), violin and tinker with keyboards.

I don't care for rapcrap or country. Or sht like Britney Spears and Lady Gaga

Am a fiscal conservative. Seriously doubt there is a connection between music preference and political affiliation

Libertarian/right wing extremist

Anything but pop, rap, new country, Muzak, new R&B. This stuff takes no talent or creativity. And in many cases, musicians are not even essential.

But I like everything from Black Flag to Bach. Willie Nelson to the Doors. BB King, opera, Led Zeppelin, Sara Bareilles, Gladys Knight, Allman Bros, Grateful Dead, ...you get the idea.

Conservative Christian.

I'm all over the place. 50s and 60 rock, classic 70's rock and I love 80's punk and New Wave as well. I'm into movie sound tracks, as well as classical and symphony. Gospel and conteporary Christian music. Then I'll take a sharp turn somewhere and enjoy some Enya, Loreena McKennit, Celtic Women, steel drum music, and some trance.

Pretty much anything besides rap, thrash, and top 40 pop. My music list runs the gamut from Classical and New Age to Metal.

Independent leaning conservative.

I listen to classic rock and enjoy some of the music my children listened to. Pearl Jam is one of my favorites, but I don't care much for the music of today. I like the Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, The Who, Traffic, The Beatles, etc......

I am a fiscal conservative Democrat, socially Liberal on most issues.

I don't think you'll be able to make a connection though. My conservative friends and I never argue about music.

I like everything but Rap and Hip Hop. I especially like World Music. Souad Massi is one of my favorite singers.
